Haha! Or maybe a gurney and two EMT's?
My latest that I posted here:
http://www.flyanglersonline.com/bb/s...929-Grass-Carp
was 41.5" long. Only took a 5wt rod. I thought mine was fat...but that thing in your link is either loaded with eggs, bloated from being dead a few days...or both! HUGE!
For the record....I bet mine smelled better!

Yes, Dave. I saw that. Didn't think about it when I posted this article. Hope it didn't steal any of your thunder. That was a catch of a lifetime, Dave.

So that happened in Olathe, KS. Hmmmmm, who do we all know who lives in Olathe? I wonder if a certain Swamp Witch drained her cauldron in an inappropriate way, or if she is working on womping up a batch of jumbo carp to take her mind off of the Black Hills.

We have some of them about that long in the lake I live on, but they are nowhere near that fat. They are my "Mobie Dick" when I'm out fishing in my kayak. I've tried many times to entice one to take a fly, but usually by the time I've spotted them in shallow water there's nothing but a swirl of water and mud and they're gone. I'm pretty sure that I'd have a hard time landing one on the three wt I usually use when I'm out chasing bream. It would be fun to hear the reel scream for a few seconds anyway.
