carp of the day

caught this carp today with a fiberglass fly rod (2 pc, 8', 8 wt Orvis full flex). pellet fly

Congratulations! That is a dandy fish. I wish I had an area where I could chase carp. They are heavy weight fighters and never give up. There are some huge grass carp in the lake I live on, but they are so selective and skittish that it's near impossible to get them to take a fly.
