Cruising.
Thursday, my bride and I are leaving for Alaska on a two week trip including a cruise from Whittier to Vancouver, BC. We will have shore leave in Skagway, Juneau and Ketchikan.
In Skagway we will shuttle to Haines for a tour of the bald eagle wilderness.
Juneau will find me on a half day boat chasing Salmon while Debbie is on a whale watching cruise.
Ketchikan is going to be wide open as far as excursions are concerned. I'm just planning on walking around or maybe taking a taxi to a few of the totem parks. They tell me the ship has fishing tackle for rent and I might fish the river. Anyone else been there, done that? Any input will be appreciated. Jim
