Go to ebay and search for wool roving. Spinners (the kind that make yarn, not use powerbait) use this. Its really, really cheap.
I just bought four ounces of angora. I use wool carding combs to mix in Angelina fibre for sparkle http://www.texturatrading.com/angelina.html.[/url:a702a] Awesome dubbing. Pick your colors.
Try finding a wool and fibre fair in your area. I have one here in Maryland in May http://www.wggb.org/sheep.htm[/url:a702a] This will open your eyes big time. What you spend for one little quarter ounce of dubbing can buy you 10 times this amount at a wool fair.
Enjoy

See if there is a spinning and weaving shop in your area. In my area there is such a store and they allow me to take a handful of wool fibers in several colors as 'samples' and pay for them by the lbs. A few bucks is a life time supply.

Yes Tup most people don't like dinggel berries in there wool. I usr to raise sheep to take to the fair as market lambs and know all the in's and out's with them anyone who gets any and wants to wash it usr Ivory soap to do so as it does the best job. later Matt P. S. there is a fly shop or thats just the name on the package I have called Rumpf that should have wool what I have is called sheeps fleece I got it out of one of the swap boxes a yr. ago or so. skilled fisherman I belive put it in the box.
