    Default Collier's Wet-wire Softhackle SBS



    Change colors/size to suit your needs.

    hook - Dai Riki 280 #14
    thread - Danville 6/0 black
    tail - dun hen
    abdomen/rib - silver wire small
    thorax - grey dubbing
    hackle - dun hen
    collar - black hen


    Part 1

    mash barb, start thread; tie in wire and wrap back to point above barb




    measure (gap width past bend) some hackle fibers; tie in/trim






    wrap wire forward to 50%




    tie in hackle at 75% mark




    move thread back to mid-shank, dub thorax






    palmer hackle back to mid-shank, capture tip with wire and take a few wraps through the thorax; helicopter end/cover with thread



    Just a tourist passing through

    tie in black hackle




    take a few wraps, tie off/trim, half hitch x 2, SHHAN
