Someone trying to hack my account

Has anyone gotten email saying

Someone has tried to log into your account on FAOL BB with an incorrect password at least 5 times. This person has been prevented from attempting to login to your account for the next 15 minutes.

The person trying to log into your account had the following IP address: 117.176.54.32

got a note saying someone was trying to sign in my account with no luck. the email I got was dated 04/26/15.was on the road at that time
just got to my mail today

A check shows that IP address is coming from mainland China. I discovered an email in my junk mail folder with an address based in Iraq. It appears they have us surrounded.

Is there some interchange between the forum and our e-mail addresses? I got a PM a while back, but just figured they were getting into FAOL. Do we list our e-mail address somewhere on the forum? Or are they just getting into our e-mail accidentally and finding reference to FAOL? I'm interested in the connection.

I got a couple of these notices this morning and both of the IP addresses traced back to China. The hacker did not get into my account, but they seem to be making a concerted effort to hack into FAOL. I really can't understand why?? Maybe this is just some sort of training exercise for the Chinese hacker institute???

As far as I know now. If I send out an email I put my name in the text so people know

I got the hack email message from FAOL sometime back and I see now Wildman has sent me a p.m.
