    Default LaFontaine Buzzball

    hook - Dai Riki 320 #18
    thread - MFC 8/0 brown
hackle - brown, dun (clipped to length - 1/2 gap width top/bottom, gap width on the sides); grizzly (sized properly for the hook and trimmed top/bottom)

Beautiful in it's simplicity. A fly I didn't use much until I hit some massive midge hatches last week; a cluster imitation, much easier for me to pick out of the mob scene than a Griffith's Gnat.
    Here's a nice video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7MTtTk-HM8M

    new

and used (still has floatant in the body and a little stream snot in the head)

punched my ticket to the very select 17/18 Club (we blip our highbeams when we pass each other on Frontage Rd)

    Regards,
    Scott
