Great Photos! Your spot looks beautiful. When I was growing up just outside D.C. there were many places along the C&O canal where it was possible to have a quiet peaceful and SAFE day of fishing. It was not unusual back then to encounter Supreme Court Justice William Douglas strolling the tow path. These days one can still fish successfully but you will encounter the homeless and illegal immigrants cooking anything and everything they can catch from the Potomac regardless of size. Cars parked in the parking areas are broken into and the park service tries to keep things under control but not always in time to prevent the break-ins and property damage. You are very fortunate indeed t have such a great place to go to. Thanks for sharing.
