wild man is a used who joined in 2009 but i have his account banned till he responds to me
I got one as well. I visit another website on a different topic and got a VERY similar message the same day. I suspect that people who actually try to access the websites will have malware or viruses downloaded onto their computers for tracking purposes. I just delete the messages and move on. If there was someway to block messages from that person I would have done that as well.

I must be missing something about this particular thread. I got a message from him but it was a pm....I can send any of you a pm without knowing your password. Isn't that what he did? All he had to do was login...now he is banned.
But I think he can still send PMs while banned.
Yes, but we're making (the reasonable) assumption that it wasn't really "wildman" who actually sent the PM. Somebody got into his account. He isn't permanently banned -- he just needs to change his password and Charlaine will let him back on.Originally Posted by ducksterman
The problems are 1) wildman may use the same password on other accounts. The hacker can then access things that may be more renumerative -- like maybe his bank account. 2) Since it was a hacker who sent the PM, the link is probably sketchy and designed to install malware.

Ouch...the devil stung me too.....just went ahead and deleted him.
I got it too but didn't pay much attention. I guess I thought it was legit and OK.
