    Default Revisiting an old nemesis...

Craft fur. The first time I used it, I detested it.

Last night, I tied up some Clousers using it. I fished one today. The snook loved it.

They were small, but I'll take them any day...

So, craft fur and I have made amends (durable, great movement, easier to manage than bucktail)

The day before I walked El Jobean pier for the first time. Little snook all over, but I didn't have a rod! Beautiful day!

Good job! I'm glad you didn't give up on it!

I have always used bucktail when tying clousers. I like your alternative and will have to give craft fur a try. Any particular brand folks are using?

Rumpf and Hareline. I have some Just add H20 polar fibre on it's way. I think that might be better.
