Default Someone trying to log in on my account

    Hi Folks,
I just got a notice that someone has been trying to log into my account here. Anyone else have this happen to them?
Seems like an odd thing for someone to do. Other than making inappropriate posts I'm not sure I see the benefit for anyone to do this( and you'd have to be pretty darn disturbed to see that as a benefit).Am I missing something?
    Best,

Funny - who did you get a notice from? Maybe that is the scam?

yes, I entertained that possibility but it said it came from webmaster @FAOL( my abbreviation). I was just curious if this was a relatively common occurrence but also wasn't sure why anyone would want to.

    Steve,

I hope you didn't give that 'webmaster' any info, like passwords and such.

I had exactly the same message last week. Couldn't think of why anyone would want to or benefit from doing that, or how it could hurt me, so I ignored it.

No i did not give out any info but was just curious.
Cliff, thanks, that's also what I was curious about, whether anyone else got one. makes phishing seem all the more likely.
    Thanks guys

This happened to me too. Just logged in through the site and changed the password. Have not seen any other signs of other issues, but I am on the lookout for anything else weird that may come up.
