Suggestions wanted

In my opinion the American Grade of Whiting capes have really nice feathers for streamers. My problem is that I'd like to get some in a light blue dun for tying Gray Ghosts. I note that Whiting lists a "natural dun" that looks a little more tan and some mail order firms list a "medium gray dun". Any advice is welcome.

What about dying some up the shade you want. I've used RIT clothing dye very successfully and others have used Cool Aid, although I can't imagine what flavor of Cool Aid would work well for light blue dun. Just a thought...

I presented this question to two friends who tie streamers commercially, they both like the light dun saddles from the Whiting American Hackle series.
