vises have come a long way

Posted a photo of my tying desk and the terrible mess it is.

I then tied a #16 PMD emerger with a vise I got from Fran Betters wife, which was one he used......sort of for nostalgia.

Then I got to thinking of how far vises have come over the many years of fly tying.

To the left is my everyday vise.....a wonderful rotary vise which does make tying easier and more enjoyable, in my opinion...
