    Default Golden Plover sub

    First try dyeing some sharptail body feathers. May have to work on the shade a bit (too orange?); don't have any of the real thing to judge it against







    As a bonus, the aftershaft feather came out pretty neat; it'll find it's way onto some PMD flies.

    That's a neat site; thanks for the link.
    A very generous member on another forum is sending me some feathers, so I'll be able to see what adjustments I may need to make to the dye bath.
