I spent the weekend drifting the Yakima River in eastern WA. Near spring time weather, not at all like it should be (like very cold and snowing). Caught some nice Rainbows and Cutthroat trout and hooked into a very nice 10 pound wild Steelhead. Had him on for about 7 minutes until he got tired of me and broke off the 5X tippet. Great Fun! Hope the fishing in Wisconsin is as good for you when the season opens.

Thanks for the pictorial encouragement. I am now formulating several fibs to see which ones will be most convincing. Because of my age , I can't use the " my grandmother is sick" anymore.
