All the snow we have gotten in New England has given me a chance to sit at my desk, here are a few of the ties:

Body: white floss ribbed with flat silver tinsel
Throat: yellow hackle fibers followed by red hackle fibers
Wing: two pairs of white hackle feathers

Hook: Partridge CS17, Ken Baker streamer hook, sz 2
Tail: orange goose shoulder slips
Body: back half flat silver tinsel, front half yellow yarn, ribbed with oval silver tinsel
Throat: yellow hackle fibers
Wing: two pairs of white hackle feathers with orange goose slips veiling them
Eyes: jungle fowl
Head: black thread
The Fulling Mill hooks are a 4X long streamer hook. The Ken Baker is a salmon streamer hook with a return eye which gives a wider surface to tie in wings for Herb Welck type streamers. I will be using these for a few more Herb Welch patterns I"m working on.
