Tail - mallard dyed-rust
rib - UTC wire small copper
flashback - Mylar tinsel medium pearl
abdomen - tying thread
thorax - rust rabbit/hare's ear antron mix
legs - Midge Krystal Flash pearl
head - glass bead rootbeer

Good bug, nice tie. You may find that as you get into the smaller sizes, midge Krystal Flash for the legs works a little better than the standard size.

Agreed; that's why I used it here. Anything from a #16 on down.

Oops, didn't notice. Photo made it look like standard size to my eye. Try them in olive as well if you haven't already. Excellent pattern for small mays, although I only fish them #18 and smaller.
