tuft - sparkle yarn orange
tail - golden pheasant tippet
body - squirrel dubbing
hackle - partridge


Part 1

mash barb, start thread




prep hackle (strip fibers off one side); tie in by butt






tie in rib; wrap back to bend




tie in yarn, trim to length (a bit past bend)




measure (shank) some gp tippets; tie in






dub thread, dub body

counterwrap rib; helicopter end/tie off






wrap hackle; tie off/trim, whip, SHHAN
