    Default Sage XP thread color

Getting set to build one and would prefer to use the same color scheme. Any help from the experts appreciated. Thanks RC

So you can pass it off as a Sage? Call them, ask for a few bits of thread. I'm sure they won't mind.

It'll already say Sage on it. (Their blank)
I have a slight color blindness and think their choice looks better than what i would have come up with on my own. So i thought i'd enquire.

So,,, that means you are going to pass it off as a Sage I guess. Sure saves lots of bucks.

S'pose that depends upon what "pass off" means. I'm not selling or trading it, so to me it will be a "Sage".

I never understood copying a factory rod. What's custom about that?

Well besides a different reel seat, oversize stripping guides and tip, different hook keeper and my name on the rod i guess it won't be custom.

Just call Sage. I'm sure they will tell you everything you want to know. I have built rods for people who request I make it look just like a factory rod, and as long as the customer is happy, so am I. I've built some for myself that look almost like the factory rod, but I always throw something different in there just because I want to!

    Good luck!
