What would be a good permanent marker set to buy which would cover most colors used in fly tying?

Sharpie sells a set with about a dozen of the more common colors. Office Depot/Max, Staples will have them.

I have used Prismacolor markers for years and often wondered if I could use Sharpies. The price difference is significant and Sharpies can be had at WalMart while the others only in art stores or stores like Michael's. I am curious if the smell of the solvent would ever diminish to a point where it would not put the fish off.

Thanks Jesse,
I just ordered a set of the Sharpies for approx $18 and it said on sale and normal $25. I got the ones with brush tips as opposed to the fine tipped ones. Got 12 colors. It says you can broaden the stripe by just controlling and pressing down more with the brush. Sounds good to me.
I have a set of Bic Felt Permanent markers but left them in Maine. Now in AZ for the winter. Frustrating not having the stuff to tie with.
I think I will like the brush set. I used acrylic water based paint to make the top brown on my fly and it will just wash off. duh.....
Prismacolor has a wider range of colors. I doubt you'll find an "Olive" Sharpie, I've never seen one. I have Prismacolor pens that are over 7 years old and still working just be sure and keep the caps on when not in use.
Jim,
I'm with Jack on the olive thing but you can buy the olive Prismacolor as a single.
I have a 24 unit Letraset package in a zipper closure. They are avail by mail order and have a really huge assortment of natural colors.
There no complaints from me. I've used Dick Blick.

Just curious, how long does the color last? I've always thought about markers, they would solve a lot of color problems, but I've always been hesitant because I wonder about the color longevity. You guys with experience please enlighten me.
Thanks,
Bruce
