Another product of Southern Appalachia; they sure do like their dries (I use the term dry loosely here - even heavily hackled, this one's probably only good for a couple drifts, cool looking, though) orange or yellow. I've seen it tied with orange floss or Aussie possum dubbing; I found a bag of Smoky Orange Scintilla (which I don't think I've opened since I bought it sometime in the 90's) - ignoring the serendipitous implications would be foolish.
