    Default H&H house brand IM6 blanks imported?

    Thumbing through the printed H&H catalog last night I notice subject blank discription says "imported".
    I thought, perhaps mistakenly, Batson made those blanks in the USA. I'm certain the discription use to say "USA" at least the last time I ordered one.
    I was thinking of building another 9' 3 wt on that blank because the one I have is bout the best casting 3 wt in existance but I used less than 1st class components and I'd like to build one with better stuff on it. But this "imported" thing concerns me....Can they be exactly the same as the old ones?

    Perhaps a call to Batson's (877-875-2381) would shed some light for you. Be sure to say hi from us too. Great guys there.

    Buzz;
    My first build was an IM6 9' 3wt. While not the prettiest build in fish's just fine.
    I've build several Forecast rods from H&H and the last one came with a "Made in China" sticker!! The blanks are well made and I've turned my "Spine Finder" into a mantle piece!!
