I'm gratified to find one of my quotes used on our front page. I'm honored. And pleasantly surprised.
I like the quote too, Joe. So much I use it when I'm around my younger friends who aren't aging as well as me. HAHA.
I also like the front page picture. While in Idaho several years ago I called Kelly to see if he was up to fishing. He was down with his knee or ankle, I forget Mike was working and John had relocated to Montana. Kelly gave me directions to the spot in the picture. I have several shots of my grandson Eddie fishing there. Thanks Kelly. Jim
I'm either going to, coming from or thinking about fishing. Jim
Excellent quote Joe! Thanks Jim for the nod. "No-Tellum" spring creek is truly a gem in my life.
Tight Lines,
Kelly.
"There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home."
Roderick Haig-Brown, "Fisherman's Spring"
I too enjoyed that photo. I believe it's very dificult, unless one studied under Ansul. to "capture" what the eye/mind experiences. That photo comes VERY close. Nicely done.

PS: Quote aint't bad either :>)
