Default Chris Yates on how to make the perfect bankside cup of tea -- YouTube Strikes Again

This may be interesting for some. I remember AlanB posted that tea is the adulteration of good water, but I grew up with hot tea as a kid. I don't think I am connoisseur enough to go to this. I would be happy with the thermos or a quick cup of coffee from the local market. Still, freshly brewed tea might be the thing for some anglers on the stream.

Gave away my aluminum Kelly Kettle (3 generations in the family-now 4)
to justify acquiring a new stainless steel kettle with the new bells and whistles. Sometimes make tea, but pressed coffee is my personal pleasure. Fast, fuel frugal, and traditional with we Irish.

Basically a small portable low pressure boiler. Similar design to industrial boilers where the fire is pulled down tubes surrounded by water. Good design, has worked for years.

I'd LOVE a hot tea streamside with my cold sandwich BUT it's a bit bulky for some hikes to my remote fishin spots. Very cool, and I thought I had seen everything. On the other hand, I'd buy one just because.......
