    Default Ross Goose

About 15 years ago we were hunting near the town of Dairy Oregon. It was a great hunt with a bunch of Geese harvested. One of the geese was a Ross Goose. I saved some of the feathers and they have been in storage since that hunt.

The Ross Goose is not overly common in the US and most hunters have never even seen one. The bird is white and looks like a snow goose or a tame goose. I thought I would see if anybody wanted a small package of feathers off the goose.

Again let me say these feathers are nothing special for tying but might be of interest to a collector of feathers or???

Sale price for these packages is zero.

    Four small packs available.

They taste delicious, too! (The Rossies, not the feathers...) My favorite goose for the grill!

I got tigfly's address & his feathers should be mailed tomorrow. That will complete the feather give away. Hope you guys can find some use for them.

Tim, thanks for the Ross goose feathers! I am going to try dyeing them for wet fly wings and also use them for parachute posts.
