    Default CDL Coq de Leon

Does anyone use the Coc de Leon tailing feathers for nymphs as well as dry flies? Seems like a good idea since they seem tough.

Yessir...CDL is excellent for legs and tailing on both wet and dry patterns.

I've been looking and can't find the link. Do you just buy the regular tailing packs?

You can go with the packs. I prefer the full hackles. Been looking for a grade 1 ginger hackle for a while now.

The Rooster Saddles. Those two look like a brrown and light pardo bronze. I have a medium pardo in gold. love it. want another in ginger.

Correction, mine is a silver. Seems everybody is sold out of ginger pardo silvers?

The best Indio and Pardo come from Spain where the original birds reside...the product from Whiting (to put it mildly) is vastly inferior...

    It may be obtained here:

Hareline also carries some of the Spanish CDL:

Put the feathers side by side and the difference is obvious...
