Loop knot

In the bowline you just form a loop to start the knot, in the non slip loop, you start with an overhand knot.

Yes, that's one of the extra turns. I'm not advocating that anyone use a bowline as a knot in mono, but if you know how to tie it, you pretty much know how to tie the non-slip mono loop.
