Bead Head Hook Question

Are most bead head nymphs tied on 1X long hooks? I'm thinking the usual nymphs like PTs, or any general nymph pattern. For some reason I tied mist of mine on 1X long nymph hooks.

1x or 2x, yep....

I don't know about "most," but my beadheads range 2XS to 4XL

I only tie beads onto Scud hooks myself.

As long as you have a good hooking clearance between the bead and the hook point use the hook that you like.
