    Default strike indicators

For anyone who uses strike indicators here's one I haven,t seen yet although it might be out there. Costs less than 4 cents and takes less than 30 seconds to make. Using an old flip flop punch out a half inch core. I used half inch copper pipe. Put a small hole through the middle (length wise) and then insert a plastic Q tip through the hole until some protrudes out of the other end. Use a lighter to melt the end of the Q tip until it curls back. With a wet finger flatten the end slightly. Do the same at the other end. Voila - done.indic2.jpgindic.jpg
They can also be used as popper. Just but the tippet through the hole and tie on a trailer hook with whatever materials on it you like.

OR, You can buy a bag that contains a couple of hundred assorted small shapes and colors at Dollar Tree Store. The bag I bought had (guessing) 50 pieces like the one you posted. Each shape has a small hole in the center. You can attach the 'indicator' however you choose. The small cylinder hardly, if at all, effects the cast. These are softer then the material in flip flops.

Or what about those roll up yellow ear plugs? I am guessing they would work too, that is after you punch a hole in the middle.

Steve, that is a new way to get some use out of all those earplugs OSHA makes you buy that the workers don't want to wear.
