Fly Fishing Near Panama City Florida

My wife and I will be celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary the end of September and we will be staying on the beach just west of St Andrew State Park in the Florida Panhandle. While this is not a fishing trip I will have my 6 and 8wt fly rods with me for early morning and late evening fishing.

Can anybody give me a heads up on general opportunities. Are there any inshore low lighted docks for night fishing for lady fish sea trout etc? Does the inlet or inshore waters of the state park area have red fish etc to target? I have never surf fished are there any possibilities?

There are some great opportunities in the late evening. Don't waste them fishing.

Fishing in the surf is pretty good around there. Last time I was there I was catching pompano, lady fish, even got a hold of a blue for a few short seconds. All in all pretty good place to fish, I bet it would be really good around the jetties.
