The Gulf Coast Council - International Federation of Fly Fishers (GCC-IFFF) is holding our first Fly Fair since the re-organizing of the Council. The "revised" Gulf Coast Council covers all of Louisiana and Mississippi, as well as the coastal areas of south Alabama.
The GCC Fly Fair will be held in Ocean Springs, MS on Sept. 12th/13th. Registration is free along with admission, classes, casting instruction (with at least 5 MCI's and 4 more CI's) and tying demos/classes from the best tyers in the region and beyond (including Walt Holman - 2013 Buz Buszek Recipient), auctions, raffles and much more. Come a receive free casting lessons from great certified instructors - all for free!

The GCC is committed to education and conservation through fly fishing. Therefore, one-half of the Fly Fair's profits will be donated to the U.S.M.- Gulf Coast Research Lab (GCRL): https://www.facebook.com/GCRLstripedbass The Gulf Coast Research Laboratory was the recipient of the Federation's 2014 Conservation Award. Since 1967, the GCRL has succeeded in stocking over 13 million Gulf Race Striped Bass fingerlings creating a viable recreational fish and bringing back this race of this imperiled species from the brink of extinction.
