    Default Evans' Stillborn Stimi SBS

    hook - Dai Riki 125 #16
thread - Danville 6/0 hot pink
    abdomen - mylar braid pearl
    wing - deer hair bleached
    hackle - grizzly

Mash barb; start thread, extend wraps back to point above barb and return to point

melt end of mylar braid (original called for tan; all I had was pearl so I colored with a tan marker), extend gap width past bend; tie in, trim

clean, stack, measure (extend to back of body) a clump of deer hair; tie in, trim

    tie in hackle

wrap, tie off, trim, SHHAN; either leave as-is

    or trim out hackle underneath

    Regards,
    Scott

I saw this pattern on another forum and have used it a bunch - very effective, and the nice thing is it doesn't have to be neat, the wing can be unstacked and thin and scraggly and still work.

I bet that thing would be FUN! Peacock and black, and chartreuse.... Both in size 12-ish would be lights out here I bet!
