Thread: Net

    Default Net

So on my last time out I kinda sorta slipped and landed on my net... I've always wanted a measure net, but I'm not a fan of the blue/black nets that I see all over. The local fly shop sells a Solitude Beaver Kill net that is pretty much exactly what I'm looking for. Has anybody owned one of these nets?

havent' owned one yet, but it's now on my list! rubber nets are great because the flys don't get caught in them, and the measure function makes it perfect...
where'd you see it for sale?
fly fishing and baseball share a totally deceptive simplicity; that's why they can both be lifelong pursuits.

I found several places on the Web by a "copy and paste" into the search window, "Solitude Beaver Kill net. Cost around $80.

Fly fishing and fly tying are two things that I do, and when I am doing them, they are the only 2 things I think about. They clear my mind.

I took an old wooden handled net, cut the ancient string off, sanded, tung oiled, and put a measure net on.
    Happy camper now.
