My USMC son Evan has come a long way since hitting the IED in Iraq on 1/1/05. Beautiful wife. 3 great kids. Several triathlons, including 2 Ironmen. Sunny, happy to be alive, disposition and no trace of PTSD.
Excuse me if I seem boastful at times. I'm really just celebrating after getting through a really dark time!
He?s been writing and performing songs. His goal is to be more of a songwriter than a performer as that is where the money is and traveling is quite a hassle when you're in a wheelchair.
He's put together an EP (6-song CD) of his songs, recorded in a studio with some good musicians, to start promoting his songs and to get extra money from his local gigs. You can hear samples if you search for Evan Morgan on iTunes, even buy them for download.
He's learned to play guitar far better than I could in my prime and has a decent voice. I have my fingers crossed for him in this endeavor.
