    Default Model for Brood III Cicadas

    Here's one of the "The Iowan Brood" (Brood III) Cicada's we have in Iowa this Summer. They are very numerous in some areas...so fish should be MUNCHING on these (or a reasonable facsimile):

    Dave,
    While fishing a spring creek in Missouri a number of years ago, I saw some cicada flying around. The closest thing I had was a big stonefly pattern. When that big fly hit the water, there was an immediate fierce take.

    I bet! Its probably similar to air-dropping bacon cheeseburgers onto a college campus. MAYHEM!
