Could anyone give me examples of rod names they've used, I'm looking for ideas on mine... Thanks

One of my rods is named "Bob", another I call "Ted".
There is one in the back of the pile called "#%*&@#!!"

You can't go wrong with the Rainshadow/Forecast line.
    See the post below.
I have a Pac Bay Rainforest that I like very much also.

Rainshadow/Forecast is an awesome lineup. DanCraft offers extremely high end performance without the extremely high end pricing. These 2 lines get 99% of my wrapping time.

Ok I'm cornfused. Do you want a name of blanks to use to build rods or name's of rod companies/brands so you can write them on rods you are building?

When I caught the 8+ catfish on my 3 wt. I called it "The Terminator".. A couple months later it snapped on about a foot above the handle on a 14" bass. Now I call it "Brokeback Mountain".

If you want to have some scripting on the butt end of the fly rod, may I recommend
"Decal Connection"! I have done business with the gentleman many times, and you get a great product and service at a very reasonalbe price. Why chance messing-up a custom fly rod with some less than quality attempt at penmanship?

I like to call my rods the "C&R" followed by the year and rod number, IE. . . C&R 2006-02. C&R is Catch and Release. Sometimes also if I build or design a rod for a specific purpose, like the one I worked on last winter I name it that. For instance, NMW 2005. North Maine Woods 2005. I just can't bring myself to part with my rods, so I feel no mis-givings about naming them this way.
