Default Is there a formal name for this fly?

There has been some discussion about the "Catskill Style" dry flies and the "penetrating" posts about the short float life of such flies....on the hackle tips, that is.

I believe in wings on flies. I do not like the view, from the trout's view, of meniscus-pierced hackle tips below the fly body.

I have gone with a "traditional style" dry fly (collar hackled), and then clipped flush on the bottom.

I know it floats well, presents wings, and appears more like an insect (I believe) from the trout's viewpoint.

    A compara-Hacle or a Hackled Compara dun?
