Exclamation Someone tell winter to go away

The Hills are under a winter weather advisory. 6" of snow expected.

Just when you think you're done with that fluffy white stuff...

    BigDan,

Just think, all that late snow has made it so you don't have to mow the grass until late into May. I have already had to mow at least a dozen times.

I wish... but I haven't done it a dozen times

The front yard finally got mowed a week and a half ago. The back yard is beginning to look jungle-esque.

Well .... how 'bout that means you don't have to WATER your yard for a bit longer?? Makes for better stream water conditions too!
Hopefully, I'll be seeing those conditions the end of this month ..... Creek Chubs fear me!
Trouts don't live in ugly places.

A friend is not who knows you the longest, but the one who came and never left your side.

Don't look back, we ain't goin' that way.

Not nearly as much as Cheez-Its fear you.
How about Lakota Cutthroat Trout(s). Do THEY fear you?

    BigDan,

I found the problem, look at the second word in your location. Dakota, Yanktonai word, means summer comes in July. Man, I cannot imagine cold weather this late, I planted watermelon and cantaloupe yesterday and plan to put in tomato plants this week. I think the !@#$% rabbits ate my broccoli plants already.

Have had tomatoes growing for about 3 weeks now as summer came a few weeks ago along with tarpon season. 90 degree temps & the white butterflies. Wouldn't mind some cooler weather, but anything much below overnight 60's probably won't happen until next October as the end of the seasonal shoveling heat & humidity out of the driveway has become mow the lawn & weeds more frequently as the rains increase & the inevitable mosquito snowfalls......
