Had Betty planned a fishing trip to the Black Hills for Mother's Day?

BigDan,
Just think, all that late snow has made it so you don't have to mow the grass until late into May. I have already had to mow at least a dozen times.

Well .... how 'bout that means you don't have to WATER your yard for a bit longer?? Makes for better stream water conditions too!
Hopefully, I'll be seeing those conditions the end of this month ..... Creek Chubs fear me!
Trouts don't live in ugly places.
A friend is not who knows you the longest, but the one who came and never left your side.
Don't look back, we ain't goin' that way.
BigDan,
I found the problem, look at the second word in your location. Dakota, Yanktonai word, means summer comes in July. Man, I cannot imagine cold weather this late, I planted watermelon and cantaloupe yesterday and plan to put in tomato plants this week. I think the !@#$% rabbits ate my broccoli plants already.
Want to hear God laugh? Tell him Your plans!!!
It is snowing up here in the northwest also. Cottonwood snow. The trees are dumping the white stuff like crazy.

Well,,, good old Wyoming, roads were closed, snow again, but Rock Springs and Farson, Eden got very little moisture. Traci and I were in Omaha, NE this weekend, Rain, tornado watches, rain, more rain, etc. When we got home last night, there is a quarter of an inch in the rain guage in our back yard. The ranch, HOPEFULLY got that much to help the grazing allotment grass for this summer. I still haven,t figured out how to get more water out here for the prairie, desert. The last time I did a rain dance, the rain gods dropped a LITTLE bit but it was like they were laughing their heads off, and it did not smell like rain!!
