I'll Be Gone for a While
Taking off to Kodiak in a few hours for a Kodiak brown bear hunt. I will be completely out of reach for the duration and internet access is even harder to come up with... With luck like Riley had last spring I may be back in no time at all, but the season closes May 15 and that means I will have nothing to do out there after that date so I will at least be trying to come home.
Riley and his girlfriend Cheyenne are getting a lab puppy Friday and I really wanted to be around when she arrived.

Had an incredible trip with unreal weather, a great friend, 66 Kodiak brown bears, a bunch of tanner crabs, and came home to plenty of puppy love!
The folks at the lodge out at Uganik Bay delivered the first tanner crabs as I was setting my anchor the first day!
