The Alexandra is a well known streamer fly that is known for use as a streamer for trout. I have used it off and on for years with good success on rainbows. I little while back I decided that I should tie some and see how they worked on warm water fish. So I tied a bunch on size 8 and 10 Mustad 3366 hooks. I tried them today and was quite pleased with the response from gills and crappie.

You might want to give it a try.

I looked it up and it looks like something I could tie as a beginner. And since I fish for bluegill and bass, if it works, all the better. Thanks.
