    Trigg,
    Thanks for the tip. I will tie him a dozen #18 pheasant tails and RS2's. I have never tied nor used RS2's but it seems to be a good time to start. I'm going to tie some for myself and see how well they work in the drifltless. Thanks for posting.

    Keep the Pheasant Tails sparse and skinny. Might include some #20s. It's a great river. Hope he has a good time.

    Trigg,
    One more quick question. Does it make a difference if its a flashback and/or bead head? Here in Wisconsin flashback beadheads tend to out fish the typical pheasant tails.

    Don't really know. I always tied and fished the plain Pheasant Tail without adornment. It worked. Don't know if adding a bead or flashback would work better. I wouldn't get too fancy.
