    Default FIRST TRIP 2014 - Panfish - Apr 21, 2014

    FIRST TRIP 2014
The ice went off the day before we headed for Sow Bug and by the time we got home and I could head for a pond the ice had been off for over a week. I was not sure that it was possible to drive into a pond, so I grabbed a 3 weight and a 5 weight rod and headed for the pond. I walked in and went to the far end of the dam. This would give me a large flat where I could cast.

What kind of gloves did you get? I use fingerless windproof gloves but I am always in the market for something better.

I attended The Sowbug as a vendor and I must say that it was the best run show I have been to in years. The only one I have seen that was that well organized is The BUFF show in Cincinnati. We are planning to be there later this year and for Sowbug 2015
