First night on water, first fish on fly I tied
I went fishing for the first time this year tonight at a small city lake. I wound up using an X caddis fly I tied last month as part of the beginning fly tiers swap. Its a small one but it was on a fly I tied. It was great. All in all it was a pretty good night. I caught 8-10 fish. All small though. Boy was it fun .
Sorry about double post. Im having troubles tonight. I couldn't even post pic. It was a small bluegill.
Always a great experience to catch that first fish on a fly you tied. Caught three small bluegills tonight too. First fish of the year... This is a great hobby. Congratulations.
