Default Let me see your tying desks!

I am thinking about making some modifications to my fly tying desk. I know, from time to time folks post a picture of their tying desk but I thought it would be helpful to ask you to post a picture of your tying desk. Perhaps a picture of your set up will give me some inspiration.

I'll start the ball rolling. Attached are a couple pics of my space. Let me see what your tying desk looks like. Thanks.

Made this one from what was available a couple of years ago, it was meant to be temporary but...

One of these days I will get to do something more permanent.
    Cheers,

I used the metal side slides, and follow these directions https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wQho5lpV8RU
making that little spacer out of scrap makes putting the slides in a snap.

Sadly I didn't build mine, I bought it a long time ago. But I hope this helps.

Here's my desk which I assembled from a very nice roll top desk top I picked at the local Goodwill store and matched it up with an old oak banker's desk I got off of Craig's list. Total cost for both was $110 and I added another $30 by raising the top and inserting a pull out work platform I use for rod building etc. The drawers on the left of the desk is actually a panel that opens to reveal the spring-load lifting typewriter platform. I use that platform for my powered dubbing twister. Fantastic desk, but I must admit that it is not always this neat.

Now that you've seen Mr. Smith's desk and Liljoe's, there's the guy who lives in the alley. Mostly it's hand me down from my kids, a friend or two and a garage sale. You take the chair and the vise out of the picture, you probably cannot buy a large fries at MickeyD's
