    Default Ladyfisher surgery

Time catches up with all of us, and time has caught up with the Ladyfisher's left hip. An x-ray showed that the joint is beyond recovery and needs replacement. Will be headed home from Arizona after Easter and straight into our orthopedic surgeons office. Total hip replacement is on our calendar for this summer. Prayers appreciated.

I'm either going to, coming from or thinking about fishing. Jim

Wishing Ladyfisher all the best for a smooth, non-eventful replacement and recovery.

Ladyfisher will be back on her feet and thinking about standing in a stream before she knows it. My wife has had both hips replaced due to rheumatoid. Barb's surgery were 10 years apart the second scar was 1/3rd of the first. The rehab will be painful, I'm sure the doctors will tell her to take the painkillers before she needs them. We will be praying for the best.

LF, you have the prayers from Wyoming. Traci is going to Denver to help her cousin while he recovers from his second one. Get well soon.

    Deanna & Neil,

You know you both will be in our thoughts and prayers. They have come a long way with hip replacement and I know that therapy is the only way to the fastest recovery. There is pain involved with therapy but it is short lived and you can bounce back rather quickly. Please keep us posted.

May the Creator be with you both and give you strength.

Fly fishing and fly tying are two things that I do, and when I am doing them, they are the only 2 things I think about. They clear my mind.
