thread - Danville 6/0 black
rib - xsmall wire gold
tail - golden pheasant tippet
rear hackle - olive grizzly (undersize by 2)
abdomen - dubbing yellow
wing - calf tail
hackle - brown/grizzly mix

mash barb, start thread at 70% mark
clean, stack, measure (hook shank) a clump of calf tail
tie in (make sure the first wrap is the farthest forward; each successive one should go back)
trim butts at an angle and cover with thread wraps
measure a clump (hook shank) of pheasant tippets
tie in, trim butts and smooth with thread
