Hi:
I'm interested in the Orvis Silver Label waders. Available sizing is better than some other brands and the cost, with the exchange rate to Canadian funds, is decent.
Anyone have experience with this model?
Regards.

Blue nose,
I've used the Orvis Silver Label waders for 4 seasons now, and they're just as good as the day I bought em (except for the fish slime on em, but that's in another thread ). Never had them leak on me, and they're very comfy. I'd recommend them.
Just remember that waders are an investment, and the better quality you buy the better your return on them in terms of dry fishing hours will be.
bluenose,
I've been fishing mine (stocking feet) hard for about 4 years also with nary a problem. They're a good value.

I bought a pair of Silver Label 'high back' waders a number of years ago. I think they were being discontinued and were on sale. They have been excellent waders. After 100+ hard days on the water, I have only put one hole in them (caught my tail on some barb wire) and had a little seepage from one of the seams in the neoprene stockingfoot (fixed both with a bit of aquaseal). I have definitely gotten my $100 worth out of 'em.
I've had mine for a couple years. The only problems have been a couple of small leaks from hooking myself. I have hooked my waders more times than I can remember, but have usually only had leaks the few times that I really managed to drive the hook into the material. I would definitely recommend them.
