Common Cents Forum

Anyone know of a forum dedicated to the Common Cents system? Preferably something semi-official where the inventor of the system often lurks and answers questions. I have a few questions about the system that have arisen after reading all the info. from the links on this site.

No offense, but those two links were exactly what I meant when I mentioned that I read all the info. from the links from this site. Unfortunately, I had no questions before reading that stuff, now I have a few that were not answered in those articles (perhaps in the yet to be released to the web overview article) and at least one additional question after visiting the data site.

However, I do thank you for the pointer to rodbuilding.org, I did not know that that existed. I'll look around there and see what I can find out.

Both Dr Bob and Tom Kirkham do show their mugs here on the Boards once in a while. If you do a search thru the main board for CCS or Common Cents those discussions should show up. There was a lot of info, and you might be able to glean their e-mail addresses.

Or you could just post your questions and see what happens. I know JC and LF do occasionally let them know when their assistance is needed and it wouls help us all.

Don, just to get the names straight:

Dr. William Henneman "Dr. Bill" invented and wrote all the major articles on the CCS. He occasionally visits this board and rodbuilding.org, and is usually quite responsive to email.

Tom Kirkman is the owner and moderator of Rodbuilding.org, and can always be found on that forum.

Bob, "Superbob" is the owner of the CCS database site.

Tom Kirkman also publishes/published RodMaker mag and has written several articles on the CCS as well. He also owns the [url=http://www.common-cents.info:0c1be]www.common-cents.info[/url:0c1be] site.

Both these gentlemen post on [url=http://www.sexyloops.com:0c1be]www.sexyloops.com[/url:0c1be] and answer questions on the system there. There were two very lengthy posts there in the last month under the "tackle" section. Very enlightening! YOu can do a search on that section and find them I'm sure.
[url=http://www.rodbuilding.org:0c1be]www.rodbuilding.org[/url:0c1be] is probably the best place to get Dr. Bill, Tom or others that are up to speed on the CCS though. That's the forum where most CCS info is discussed on a regular basis.

If you do a general search on rodbuilding.org for 'common cents' you'll probably turn up enough reading material to last you a life time. And any question you have has probably already been asked and answered there.
