Mesh tubing

Recently I saw at JoAnn's this Darice Expressions Mesh Tubing....$4.99...coupon would make it a real deal for 20 feet. Is anyone familar with this stuff? Would it work like mylar tubing or maybe it is too stiff?.....some good colors.

I bought several packages of it.

Feels/works just like the hollow plastic braided tubing they sell in the fly shops, but it's different than the metal 'mylar' stuff with the rope core.

You can use it in any fly that calls for this type of braid.

So far I've used it for covering foam popper bodies and making hollow bodies with rattles for pike flies.

I like it, and it's a great price (got mine on sale awhile back for 40% off).
